All the buzz at our house is for the Wiggles tomorrow night. It is actually the threat I have been using since Monday. If you don't brush your teeth, you can't go to the Wiggles. If you don't use your listening ears, you can't go to the Wiggles. The threat of all threats has been used on Chapman-Scott, though.
Chapman-Scott will be two on September 6. She is potty-training. She is female and she is my daughter. Enough said, right?
Yesterday, we got a note home from school that Chapman-Scott had not listened all day and that she had used the bathroom on the floor all day and would not use the potty...I guess since that is the only thing she really has control of (i.e. her bladder), she's using it to the fullest. So, here come the threats. Her teacher asked if we would talk to her. I did at school and told her that if she didn't use her listening ears and pee pee in the potty, she couldn't go to the Wiggles. She started to cry, said, "I sorry, Mommy" and sulked out of the room. Well, little did we know that Beau had been listening on the entire conversation to his own measly little delight! Used the threat all night to bully Chapman-Scott into whatever he wanted her to do. :)
Scott also talked with her and told her that if she didn't potty on the floor today, she would be M and M's but if she did, he was coming to school to spank her and she couldn't go to the Wiggles.
Only time will tell now...
